Are British Bed Co beds made in the UK?

Yes. Every British Bed Co bed is handmade to order in the UK. We have been making beds and mattresses since 2018, and more than 100,000 customers now sleep on one of our beds.

What sizes do your beds come in?

Most of our beds come in UK double (4ft6), king size (5ft) and super king (6ft). Selected divan beds also come in small double (4ft). Check the size options on each product page.

Do you offer free delivery?

Yes. We offer free UK delivery on all orders.

What fabrics and colours can I choose?

Our beds are upholstered in soft fabrics such as plush velvet and boucle, in a wide range of colours. Not sure which to pick? You can order fabric swatches to see and feel the fabric at home before you buy.

What is the difference between a divan bed and an ottoman bed?

A divan bed has a solid upholstered base, often with built-in drawers. An ottoman bed has a base that lifts up on gas struts to give you storage under the whole mattress. Both are available in our divan storage beds range.

What is a TV bed?

A TV bed has a TV lift built into the footboard. The TV rises up when you want to watch it and lowers out of sight when you don't, so you save space in the bedroom. See our full range of TV beds.

Does the bed come with a mattress?

Mattresses are sold separately, so you can choose the feel that suits you. You can add one when you buy your bed, or browse all our mattresses, including pocket sprung and memory foam options.

Is the bed easy to assemble?

Yes. Our beds are designed for easy self-assembly, with all fixings supplied and only basic tools needed. Larger divan bases arrive in two halves and the headboard comes as a separate piece, so they are easy to move into your room.
